HUBS

The JustPeace Hubs are established primarily for fundraising and project management purposes. The first Hub has been founded as a non-profit, non-governmental organisation (gGmbH) in Berlin.

New Hubs can be established in different regions with the approval of the JustPeace Alliance and must comply with the standards agreed upon by the Association.

STRUCTURE

All Hubs have distinct legal personalities under the laws of the country where they are registered.

They must also comply with standards developed by the Association, but they still act independently.

Hubs can undertake project fundraising and management within the broad scope of the principles of the JustPeace Association.

METHODOLOGY

While CSOs from the Global South are crucial in defining and driving the focus of project themes and goals, Hubs contribute to enhancing the quality-control of projects.

Quality is enhanced using sound methodology, incisive and comprehensive context analyses, multi-disciplinary programming, application of the human-centred approach, and evaluation.

NEW HUBS

Any member of the Association may propose the establishment of a new Hub.

The viability of new Hubs will be assessed jointly, with a realistic feasibility assessment, and in consultation with the CSO Alliance.

If the results are positive, JustPeace will support the member throughout the process of establishing a new Hub.
